Practice facilities at Sea Island Resort

Sea Island Golf Resort

With three renowned courses that are encased in the most incredible coastal surroundings, Sea Island has been named at the very top of Golf Digest’s list of North America’s Top 75 golf resorts.

This club attracts some of the best golfers in the world to this scenic area of St. Simons Island every year as a regular stop for The PGA Tour with the RSM Classic at Sea Island (formerly the McGladrey Classic).

Reynolds Lake Oconee Golf Course

Reynolds Lake Oconee

In Georgia’s rolling hills between Atlanta and Augusta on more than 350 miles of lakefront, Reynolds Golf Club offers visitors 117 holes of completely diverse golf challenges.

Reynolds enables you to combine an ideal golf experience with the relaxed atmosphere of the Lake Oconee shoreline. If you haven’t been to Reynolds Lake Oconee, one of Georgia’s most opulent golf communities, you really must add it to your vacation itinerary.

When Reynolds Lake Oconee opened in 1992, Jack Nicklaus’ spectacular signature course layout, known as Great Waters, helped put the resort on the map. The Great Waters course has more connections to Lake Oconee than any of the other five, living up to its name. A parkland-style layout across undulating hills and dense trees opens the first eight holes.

Golfers get their first glimpse of Lake Oconee on the stunning ninth hole, but it just gets them ready for the last eight holes’ panoramic vistas and difficult shots.

What Makes Golfing in Georgia Special?
