La Hacienda Links Golf Resort

San Roque, Spain

Comprising of two exceptional layouts, the Links and Heathland, La Hacienda Links Golf Resort is one of the elite 36-hole resorts in Spain. Previously known as Alcaidesa Golf, both courses have undergone substantial renovations, and are now rated among the best in Andalucia.

The Links is the headline act, one of the few courses in the region to run along the coastline. This part-links, part-heathland course provides spectacular views over the Mediterranean Sea and the Rock of Gibraltar.

Originally designed by legendary golf commentator and architect Peter Allis and partner Clive Clark, the redesign was completed in 2021 by renowned architect Kurtis Bowman.

His focus was producing a sustainable course, remodeling the tees, greens, and bunkering. The result has taken an already excellent course to the next level, now competing with the very best in Europe.
