Tuscany & the Italian Lakes – Sold Out

Check-out from your hotel in Rome. Private transfer to Florence. On the way you will stop in the area of Orvieto for a visit to a vineyard followed by a tasting and a lunch (90-minute drive). In the afternoon, you will continue to Florence stopping in Siena (90-minute) for a quick visit with a guide of this town, famous for its Palio, a horse race that has been running since the Middle Ages. Continue then to Florence (75-minute drive) and check-in at the hotel. An open bar and a welcome dinner will be organized in the evening.

While golfers will be transferred to Firenze Ugolino Golf Club (lunch is included by the restaurant of the Club House), the non-golfers will have a special tour with a local chef visiting the local fresh food market and taste the culinary specialties of Tuscany. The non-golfers will then be transferred to golf club to meet with the golfers and together they will go and visit one of the most beautiful vineyards of Tuscany, where they will have a visit to the wine cellars, taste their wines followed by some good food. Back to the hotel late in the afternoon.

Check-out and transfer to the railway station of Florence where the group will board the fast train to Milan (1h 55m journey). Once in Milan, a guide will be at the platform and together you will visit the town leaving some time on your own for lunch and shopping. You will then reach Como (45-minute drive) by private coach and you will check-in at the hotel facing the lake. Dinner will be organized in a local restaurant in town

The full day will be spent sailing Lake Como (by private motorboat). A guide will be with you and you will visit the famous villas of Balbianello and Carlotta. In between, you will stop in beautiful town of Bellagio to wander through it’s flower lined streets. A light lunch will be organized in a lakeside restaurant, sail back to Como late in the afternoon

While golfers will be transferred to Villa d’Este Golf Club (lunch is included by the restaurant of the Club House), the non-golfers will have a tour of Como followed by a transfer to the nearby Switzerland to visit Lugano first (lunch included) and stop then by the FoxTown for some great shopping. FoxTown is the biggest outlet department store in the world. Back to the hotel late in the afternoon to get prepared for the following day departure. Dinner will be served in a restaurant downtown

Check-out and private transfer to Milan Malpensa airport (40-minute drive)
