Part of the Kohler, Wisconsin Resort, Blackwolf Run offers an award-winning 36 holes of championship golf. Blackwolf Run consists of two courses, River and Meadow Valleys. Designed by Pete Dye, both courses navigate the Sheboygan River Valley to provide stunning vistas and natural challenges across each hole.
What was formerly the hunting grounds of Chief Black Wolf and his Winnebago tribe, Blackwolf Run holds a thrilling history and allows golfers to establish a history of their own.

River Course
The River Course at Blackwolf Run, designed by the renowned golf architect Pete Dye, opened in 1990 and quickly became a celebrated destination in the golfing world. Set along the scenic banks of the Sheboygan River in Wisconsin, the course is distinguished by its stunning natural landscape, featuring rolling terrain, dramatic elevation changes, and pristine wetlands.

Meadow Valleys Course

Premier Golf’s Favorite Hole
No 8 (Par 5) – “Hell’s Gate”
The 8th hole on Blackwolf Run’s River Course features a downhill tee shot and a split fairway. You have three options: go for the green, lay up to the lower left fairway and approach the elevated green, or take a more daring lay-up to the right fairway for a better angle to the green, which slopes from left to right.
